Many women on their fertility journey unknowingly carry stress, fear, or subconscious doubts about their ability to conceive (I know I did!). These energetic and emotional blocks can create tension in the body, making it harder the life force energy (called Prana in Yoga) for conception to occur.
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and other holistic practices recognise that reproductive health is deeply connected to energy flow in the body. When stress and fear disrupt this flow, it can lead to hormonal imbalances, irregular cycles, and a lack of receptivity to conception.
By working with energy-based practices like breathwork, visualisation, and meditation, you can:

🌿 Guided Fertility Meditation (10 Minutes)
1️⃣ Find a Quiet Space – Sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in… and exhale fully. Repeat this, allowing your body to relax.
2️⃣ Connect to Your Womb Space – Bring your awareness to your lower belly. Imagine a soft, golden light filling this space, warming and nourishing it.
3️⃣ Release Blocks – Visualise any doubts, fears, or stress as wisps of white clouds. With each deep exhale, see them floating up and away into the sky, dissolving completely.
4️⃣ Affirm Your Fertility – Repeat the following affirmations:
• I release anything that is blocking my innate fertility.
• My body is wise, capable, and beautifully designed to create life.
• I am open, I am ready, I am fertile.
5️⃣ Close with Gratitude – Place your hands over your womb and whisper words of love and trust. Take one final deep breath, knowing that your body is working in perfect harmony.
To deepen your meditation practice, you can incorporate this simple yet powerful fertility ritual. Rituals help signal to your subconscious that you are ready to release old patterns and invite in new beginnings.
🌙 Fertility Release & Trust Ritual
Best Time: Under the full moon (to release blocks) or the new moon (to set fertility intentions).
You’ll Need:
✔ A bowl of water (symbolising flow & creation)
✔ A piece of paper & pen
✔ A candle
✔ Optional: Dried herbs (chamomile, lavender, or rosemary for healing)
How to Perform the Ritual:
1️⃣ Create a Sacred Space – Light the candle and take a few deep breaths, centring yourself. If using herbs, sprinkle them into the water, setting the intention for healing.
2️⃣ Write & Release – On a piece of paper, write down any fears, doubts, or limiting beliefs about your fertility. Let it all out.
3️⃣ Water Release – Hold the paper over the bowl of water and say:
“I release all fears and doubts. My body is open, my heart is ready, and I trust in divine timing.”
Tear the paper into small pieces and drop them into the water, allowing the universe to carry away any blocks.
4️⃣ Affirm & Call in Fertility – Place your hands over your womb space and whisper:
“I am a vessel of creation. My body is fertile, strong, and ready to bring new life into the world.”
Close your eyes and visualise your womb glowing with golden light, vibrant and full of life.
5️⃣ Seal with Trust – Blow out the candle, symbolising your release and surrender. Pour the water onto the earth or down the drain, trusting that the universe has received your intention.
Optional: Sleep with a small fertility crystal (like moonstone, rose quartz, or carnelian) under your pillow to continue holding this energy.
